Celebrating the Doyenne: Soha Parekh

“For most of history, Anonymous was a woman.” ~ Virginia Woolf. On this International Women’s Day, GlobalSpa recognizes and celebrates the women in the industry as we delve into their success mantra they follow, mistakes that have helped them grow, and of course, their WELLNESS philosophy.

Soha Parekh is the Founder of WorkLoft, a shared office space where all members can network & grow under one roof, yet operate independently.

What is your wellness philosophy?

I believe in living a holistic lifestyle, not only on the outside, but also on the inside. My primary focus has been to live a well-balanced lifestyle to accelerate all spheres of my social, physical, professional life.

Your success mantra?

I thrive on self satisfaction and immerse myself in what I do. I strongly believe that satisfaction is the key to all kinds of success.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

I believe that patience is a very important virtue that every human must have in their life. I have learnt that the art of waiting after putting in dedicatedly working hard to achieve your goals always gives desired results. Sometimes, life makes us wait for things to unfold by themselves when the time is right.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Take good care of yourself, no matter how hard the times are and what situation you are going through. Always spare time to connect with your inner self and indulge in activities that give you self satisfaction. Learn to adapt and be happy with yourself because only when you are happy from within, you will be radiating happiness to people surrounding you.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

As an entrepreneur, I plan, organize & execute. There are many challenges that we all face, but women have an innate ability to multitask and inspire their near and dear ones. I have been a believer in how actions speak louder than words. One of these moments that I take immense pride in would surely be the time when I realized that my children have instilled qualities of self satisfaction, patience and persistence. I feel joyous to see how they have become responsible and conscious by observing me and practicing habits just how I do it.
