What is your wellness philosophy?

My approach to wellness is holistic. It starts with the way one thinks and feels and is complimented by mindful action. For me, wellness is very co-related to my routine. I am a strong believer of having a routine in life that involves physical exercise, a discipline for your body and for your skin should be non-negotiable. I ensure I add new age supplements and minerals in my daily diet to get that extra nutritional boost. Wellness starts with a positive mind-set and extends to keeping fit, nutrition and even a consistent skincare routine. All are a priority.

Your success mantra?

I think success is pretty relative. It’s an ongoing process. I prefer to see it as a journey, which is why I relate to the phrase ‘Road to success’. You may feel successful at a given point, but my mantra is that success is a state of mind where one enjoys their latest achievements, only to set out towards the next. My approach is to stay focused on my vision, tirelessly endeavour to see that vision realised and have my investments grow exponentially.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

I make mistakes every day and I learn from it. Mistakes are the mountains that we have to cross over in order to learn something. Growth comes from mistakes that we make.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

The first step is to know where your passion, strength and talent lie. Create from within, don’t imitate or try to be someone else. Don’t be afraid to dream big. Instead, every move you make should be towards that dream. Your biggest challenge is to have a mind shift to believe and know that what you dream can be achieved. Your hard work will enable you to grow.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I keep reinventing myself, stay open to new ideas and constantly challenge myself, in the process always learning more and more. I pride myself on being disciplined in all areas of my life. I also believe that age is just a number, which is why no matter how much the world changes, I am unfazed. My ability to embrace and adapt is what sets me apart.
