Celebrating the Doyenne: Kirti Jham

“For most of history, Anonymous was a woman.” ~ Virginia Woolf. On this International Women’s Day, GlobalSpa recognizes and celebrates the women in the industry as we delve into their success mantra they follow, mistakes that have helped them grow, and of course, their WELLNESS philosophy.

Born and brought up in Kuwait, Kirti Jham has always been fascinated by the Kuwaiti culture and cuisine. To bring her love of the flavours of the Middle East to India, Kirti decided to start K’s Mezze, a Lebanese Home Kitchen.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Practising yoga, creating time for inner-reflection and writing down positive goal- oriented affirmations every day before I start work.

Your success mantra?

Cultivating an inspiration with a course of action. Make sure to receive help when running any business, it’s best when everyone plays to their strengths.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

To speak up when you have to, and to do it when it matters the most.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Age is no bar; we live in a golden age where we can take the inspiration around us and culminate it into a tangible product. Make sure you know the WHY of anything you do in life, the HOW eventually follows.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

To have been a dream team i.e my daughters. They keep me on my toes and help me push my boundaries endlessly. My biggest pride is constantly being able to learn from them.
