Kanika Agarrwal is the co-founder and CIO (Chief Investment Officer) of Upside AI, a fintech start-up that aims to revolutionize the investment space with the help of machine learning.

What is your wellness philosophy?

I immerse myself in other hobbies that help me disconnect from work – board games, working out, cooking.

Your success mantra?

To strive for excellence. Mediocrity is not acceptable.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

I learned early on to take a deep breath and collect my thoughts before I speak.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Be relentless.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

The tech we have built at Upside AI is truly differentiated and world class. I am very proud of the work we do and the disruptions we are going to cause in asset management.
