“For me, Beauty Runs Skin Deep” - Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor becomes the face of leading D2C beauty brand MyGlamm and also invests in the company.

Founded in 2017 by Darpan Sanghvi and co-founded by Priyanka Gill, MyGlamm is India’s fastest growing D2C beauty brand offering a range of 600+ cruelty-free products across makeup, skincare, and personal care. MyGlamm embraces the philosophy of building a community with its users, engaging with them, and eventually co-creating products with them. While it is digital-first, MyGlamm also has over 10,000 offline points of sales across 70 cities in India. The brand has appointed Shraddha Kapoor as their brand ambassador. Shraddha’s belief in the brand and love for MyGlamm beauty products is further strengthened with her making an investment in MyGlamm. Here is what Shradha thinks about her association and beliefs:

    1.) What does beauty mean to you?

    For me, beauty runs skin deep. True beauty is reflected through characteristics such as kindness, humility, generosity and empathy. I also feel that most people have started appreciating these qualities of beauty that are beyond the superficial aesthetics of a person’s outward appearance.

    2.) Which is your fav MyGlamm beauty product?

    The MyGlamm Treat Love Care Anti-pollution foundation is a fabulous solution for everyday makeup in the city. However, the products I’m loving right now is their germ killing range -Wipeout, it has everything you’d need on a day-to-day basis right now from a fantastic hand cream that smells divine to sanitizing sprays that I can't leave home without. In skincare, I’ve just started using their Youthfull range of skincare which is becoming a fast-favourite.

    3.) Must haves in your makeup kit?

    My must haves would be a moisturizer, concealer, mascara and a tinted lip balm, with that I’m ready to go.

    4.) What did you find interesting/ unique about MyGlamm that made you invest and associate with it?

    I deeply resonate with the MyGlamm’s clean beauty formulations and the cruelty-free promise as that is something I feel passionately about. When MyGlamm launched its experiential beauty store in Juhu, it instantly became one of my favourite beauty destinations not only because of the experience it offers customers but also, I love how the brand incorporates customer feedback and wants in their product formulations. Hence, when MyGlamm approached me to be the face of the brand, not only was I excited but also decided to invest in the brand. As an entrepreneur, with an interest in the industry I have carefully been studying the DTC beauty market and it is growing rapidly. I believe it is the future. Through MyGlamm, I hope to understand and fulfil the beauty needs of my fans and followers.
