Jayashree Nanaiah Singh & Rajashree Karthik Gowda are the co-founders of Loukya, a brand that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of South India through handwoven silk fabrics with pure golden zari by master craftsmen/women of Kanchipuram.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Since we have a stressful and hectic schedule, we believe in following a routine to stay fit physically and mentally. Starting the day early, doing a bit of yoga and having a healthy breakfast is an essential parts of the routine. Also, for mental well-being, we surround ourselves with positive people. Playing with our kids is a big stress buster

Your success mantra?

Being persistent is better than being good but inconsistent.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Haste makes waste.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Everyone has a talent hidden. Nurture it, understand your strength and be financially independent.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

Being able to help the artisans carry forward the rich legacy of craftsmanship and being able to generate employment.
