Celebrating the Doyenne: Dolly Kumar

“For most of history, Anonymous was a woman.” ~ Virginia Woolf. On this International Women’s Day, GlobalSpa recognizes and celebrates the women in the industry as we delve into their success mantra they follow, mistakes that have helped them grow, and of course, their WELLNESS philosophy.

Dolly Kumar is a Cosmetic Engineer and Founder and Director at Cosmic Nutracos – an entrepreneurial venture in the wellness and skincare space providing natural innovative solutions to everyday health and personal care related problems.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Well, my wellness philosophy is quite simple and I believe it should be that way. My
day starts with a morning yoga session followed by meditation. Well, I recognize the importance of mental, emotional, and physical well-being. So, I make sure to stay away from unnecessary stress or circumstances. I also love spending meaningful time with my family and friends.

Your success mantra?

Hard work, no doubt, leads to success. Besides, be passionate, focused as well as disciplined in whatever you do that will give you the courage to fulfil your dreams. Most importantly, be honest with yourself.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Never back down no matter what may have come on your way. Perseverance is key to success. Remember that mistakes are opportunities to improve yourself. So, make them your strengths and not weaknesses. It is also good to be prepared for the future. Always share your thoughts with your loved ones.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Be fearless, you are invincible. Be independent and speak your mind. And if you desperately want to achieve something in life; go after it. Don’t forget to love yourself and always have faith in yourself and God.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I followed my passion. I have faith in my conviction that helps me fulfil all my duties tirelessly. Of course, discipline plays a huge role in any success. Besides all, today, I am also a proud mother.
