What is your wellness philosophy?

A healthy body and mind are my top priorities. I strive to ensure that I get a good mental and physical workout to get my energy levels up. I indulge in various activities, like surfing, while I keep learning new skills, such as speaking Hindi. My wellness philosophy is keeping yourself healthy in a holistic manner, both physical as well as spiritual.

Your success mantra?

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Every mistake gives you a lesson, so have had many mistakes and challenges before building a successful brand like Surya Brasil. Hence, learning from mistakes and persistence to move ahead despite failures is the key to success.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Women are the indefinite source of power and, like in Indian culture, the strength of women is worshiped in various forms of goddesses. Women need to find their inner strength and never let self-doubt creep in. She needs to push the boundaries as long doesn’t hurt herself or any other living being on the planet. Always listening to the heart and being in harmony with nature.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

The experience and self evolution I have gotten with my professional life, also as a mother, as a female, as a nature lover, as an activist and as a human being, is my biggest pride as a doyenne.
