Tanya Swetta is the Co-Founder and CEO of id8 media solutions, an Integrated Marketing Agency with 19+ years of experience. Founded in the year 2001, id8 media solutions contexted its journey with Tanya (at the age of 21) at the helm as a Public Relations Agency.
What is your wellness philosophy?
Good actions, good thoughts and good deeds lead to a healthy and positive mind and body. Wellness to me is both mental and physical. A daily exercise routine mixes up between yoga, weight training, cardio and tennis is what allows me to release my daily stresses and increase my endorphins. Following a nutritious diet and balancing the work and home life is important too. Besides this, practicing thankfulness and being mindful of the present are some of the daily practices I follow.
Your success mantra?
Don’t judge yourself by comparing yourself to others. Judge yourself by how far you have come from where you began. This emotion keeps you away from negative thoughts and energy and keeps you focused on your long-term goals.
A lesson you learned from making a mistake?
I have made many mistakes, it’s human to err. The main lesson through all of this was that you must learn and grow from your mistakes, make it an opportunity, and never make the same mistake again.
Any piece of advice for all the women out there?
You are a unique creation, by far the most powerful species on our planet, you are imbibed with all the qualities required for success. You go Girl!
What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?
When you are young, intelligent and a go-getter, there will be many opportunities that present themselves to you. I pride myself on the fact that not even once have I strayed away from my values and culture – something that is an integral part of id8 media solutions – our founding pillars of Honesty Integrity Quality and Innovation.
