Sonam Kapoor shares her baby’s skincare, parenting advice and much more in an exclusive interview with GlobalSpa.

What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty to me is more than just a physical appearance. It’s about being confident and comfortable in your own skin. It’s about feeling good about yourself, inside and out. It’s about being kind and compassionate, and living your life to the fullest.
Must haves in your skincare? and your baby’s skincare?
For my skincare, I always make sure to use a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I also like to use a serum or oil to help hydrate my skin. For Vayu, I use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. The Moms Co.’s Natural Baby Lotion is my go-to keep his skin soft and smooth.
What parenting advice do you swear by?
One parenting advice I swear by is to trust your gut. You know your child better than anyone else, so trust your instincts when it comes to making decisions about their care. Another piece of advice is to be patient. Parenting is a marathon, not a sprint. There will be ups and downs, but it’s important to be patient and enjoy the journey. Also, I have learned the importance of being patient and taking care of myself so that I can be the best mother possible for my child.
