Shalini Vadhera, Founder, Ready Set Jet. Ready Set Jet is a mission driven global luxury beauty and lifestyle brand for the on-the-go generation. They believe the future is female.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Selfcare is the most important thing you can do. From a wellness point of view, setting aside 30 min a day to give yourself the gift of self care is a priority. I start my day with tapping, brain wave vibration meditation, affirmations and essential oils. It's been a game changer in my mental health and physical health.

Your success mantra?

Positive Mind = Positive Life. That all challenges and setbacks are just teachers. Some are master teachers, and when you look at it from that point of view, you realize that you’re stronger, wiser, smarter and start looking at those challenges with gratitude.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Yes! The biggest and most costly mistake was going against my gut. It’s important to listen to that inner voice and intuition. I knew not to enter into a certain partnership, but for whatever reasons I did and it was an exceptionally expensive lesson.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Stick together and support each other. When we come together and collaborate, we are so much more powerful. Strength in numbers!

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

Seeing the impact my work has on other women. Nothing makes me happier than seeing I’ve positively affected someone whether it’s self esteem thru beauty or inspiring someone to take their first leap as an entrepreneur. It’s truly an honor to know that my work has inspired another person.
