Meetali Kutty is the Head of Marketing at Azure Hospitality. She has over 10 years of experience in hospitality, and has worked for leading established brands as well as establishing new brands.

What is your wellness philosophy?

The philosophy that I live by is that no matter how stressful life can get, try and take out time for yourself. It’s the most important thing to put yourself first and take some time out for your peace of mind.

Your success mantra?

No matter how alienating it can get, you should always follow your instincts and do what feels right. Always trust your gut because it’s usually right.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

No matter the mistakes you make along the way, there is always another way to learn from it and to accomplish something. It’s important to have an open mind and be open to new perspectives.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

It’s crucial to always stand your ground. Never let anyone bully you into doing something contrary to your own beliefs.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

The biggest pride and accomplishment would be holding my own, in a largely male-dominated field.
