GlobalSpa’s Fit & Fab Sonu Sood has given us one more reason why he is fabolous (and fit, obviously). Known for his tremendous acting in Bollywood, actor Sonu Sood turns out to be a real-life savior during the pandemic. Here’s how he’s embracing his role.
Ever since lockdown commenced in Maharashtra, rarely any has shown up as passionately as Sonu Sood. From having arranged buses within just two days for migrants to providing people meals and sanitary items, the actor has taken the nation by storm with his might and money going towards the people’s safety. Recently more than 12,000 migrant workers and families had safely returned to their hometowns in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Rajasthan – thanks to Sonu Sood personally making arrangements and bidding them goodbye as he sat them down safely. In Kerala, the actor helped airlift 177 women textile workers as well:

Arrangements have been made for 45,000 more migrants already. “Migrant workers have helped build our roads, homes and offices. We cannot stand and watch them be homeless,” says Sonu. Previously, Sonu had also been the first celebrity to open gates at his Juhu hotel for health workers and had partnered with his friend and restaurateur Neeti Goel to feed those in need of ration – every single day. Numerous state governments, including Maharashtra’s, have openly acknowledged Sonu for his efforts.

This isn’t the first and only step the actor’s taken. Through his Instagram platform, Sonu has been raising awareness amongst his 3.2 million followers including making your own face shield and participating in awareness drives thanking the people on the frontline of this pandemic. Not only that, but the actor’s also been actively reaching out through his Twitter handle and providing help to all those seeking out for his help. While the fight is never over, the actor’s constantly reaching out, providing necessities, and reassuring the families of thousands in the country during these tough times.
