The entire process generally takes two to three hours and many professionals recommend the use of numbing cream before beginning the process.
Durability
As it is a semi-permanent process, the effect usually lasts for 3 years before it starts fading away. There are factors like the quality of ink used, UV exposures, medications etc. which affects the time span for microblading to last.

There are some precautions that one should take before going for microblading-
- Avoid the consumption of things which thins your blood, like aspirin, retinol.
- Be sure about the color of the pigment decided.
- Make sure that the blades are fresh and unused.
