In a country where body care products often promise fragrances or moisturization, do they truly address the diverse and complex needs of Indian women? This question has been on the minds of Archit Agarwal and Harry Sehrawat, co-founders of Sanfe, an IIT Delhi startup. Inspired by the visible lack of confidence in their female colleagues due to common skin concerns like tanned skin, dark underarms, and strawberry skin, they set out on a journey to revolutionise the beauty and wellness sector in India.

The Glycoclear Technology range encompasses 18 products, each dermatologist-approved and subjected to skin safety tests. From addressing keratosis pilaris to targeting skin discoloration, every product is a testament to Sanfe’s dedication to providing specialised solutions that transcend traditional boundaries and set a new standard for feminine care.

The Science Behind the Glow: Understanding Glycoclear Complex

At the core of Glycoclear Technology lies the Glycoclear Complex—a sophisticated blend of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs). This intricate formulation maintains a low pH, effectively exfoliating the skin’s top layer from the very first use. What’s more, it accelerates the penetration of active ingredients, making it three times quicker in action while providing instant nourishment, leaving the skin smoother than ever before.

Glycoclear is more than just a skincare solution; it’s about breaking free from body concerns and societal norms. Each product in the Glycoclear range is meticulously crafted not only to effectively solve skin issues but also to instill confidence and liberation in every woman who uses them.

Aiming High: Sanfe’s Ambitious Growth Plans

Sanfe’s commitment to research and innovation is further underscored by its financial commitment. With an audited turnover of INR 47.5 crore for FY 2022–23, the company aims for a colossal target of achieving INR 500 crore in the next three years, representing a remarkable 500% growth. Through various funding rounds, Sanfe has raised an impressive USD 3.93 million, positioning itself as a major player in the beauty and wellness sector.

Sanfe’s Glycoclear Technology represents a triumph of feminine innovation—a solution to the diverse and complex body care needs of Indian women while challenging traditional beauty standards. As Sanfe propels into a new era of skincare, its commitment to empowerment, innovation, and excellence remains steadfast, promising a brighter, more confident future for women across the country.
