Celebrating the Doyenne: Pritika Singh

“For most of history, Anonymous was a woman.” ~ Virginia Woolf. On this International Women’s Day, GlobalSpa recognizes and celebrates the women in the industry as we delve into their success mantra they follow, mistakes that have helped them grow, and of course, their WELLNESS philosophy.

A passionate, persistent, calm, and action-oriented Pritika Singh, entered the entrepreneurial world with her unique, bold, quirky ideas and founded Mohh.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Wellness is a holistic approach – everyday I try to undertake activities which help with my mental, physical, intellectual and social health. It is always a priority, as even if one of them is askew, my entire wellbeing feels off balance. If I am feeling to the best of my ability, I’ll be able to work to the best of my capability.

Your success mantra?

Focus, determination and patience are the 3 qualities that I constantly try to harness to be able to achieve success. And as cliché as it may sound, I truly believe and try to emulate the saying – don’t wish for it, work for it.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

The importance of establishing and nurturing the right partnerships as well as constantly upskilling yourself. Sometimes, being the jack of all trades or having knowledge of multiple fields can be an important skill set.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

The glass ceiling well and truly exists out there, but we all have the ability and the skill to shatter it. Keep on working on your dream, your goal and lean on other women along the way. Women can uplift other women and understand their pain, aspirations better than anyone else can.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I think the term doyenne is an aspirational adjective for me at the moment. I still have a long way to go and look forward to learning new things every day.
