Gunjan Taneja Pens India’s First Ever Book on Salon Management

Hoping to guide the many aspirants in the beauty business, Gunjan Taneja has penned the first ever salon management book in India titled “Step by Step Guide for Salon Management”. The renowned ‘Diamond Publishing House’ has taken the initiative of publishing the book, where detailed chapters talk about how to manage a salon business from A to Z.

Salons and spas have been witnessing a rapid growth over the last couple of years. Whether it’s in the form of beauty products or services, the demand for it has expeditiously increased, and so has the supply. And as the demand for the service rises, so does the requirement of skilled hands at job.

The Indian beauty and personal care market is evidently growing undeterred at a whopping $26.07 billion as per 2022 figures. The market is expected to boom annually by 4.64 percent (CAGR 2022-2025). The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has also introduced the book as a recommended part of its bachelor's degree programme in salon management which has added another feather to the cap for author Gunjan Taneja. She is taking seminars and is looking forward to tie up with various academies so that beauty education is taken as a responsibility and choice, not just a chance!

With over 20 years of experience in amalgamating salon and education, Gunjan is a celebrity trainer, columnist and permanent makeup expert. She is also a member of Cancer foundation NGO’s and various societies.
