Shaily Shah is the co-founder of Tarraki, a new age fintech company that provides infrastructure for companies to launch investing products.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Wellness to me means living a happy, healthy, and creative life. Positive thoughts, staying away from negative people, and connecting with people you can learn from and enjoy, spending time with is what makes my life a happy life. Prioritizing movement throughout the day, drinking tons of water, and exercising consistently help me to live a healthy life.

Creativity keeps my mind active and I constantly keep on trying to work on new ideas and it gives a sense of accomplishment when something unique has worked out well.

Your success mantra?

There are three most important parameters to succeed in whatever you are doing are: Grit, perseverance, and your work should serve the purpose for its existence. As a founder, I deeply believe that these three qualities help to leave no stone unturned and work towards achieving success.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Making mistakes helps us grow as individuals. I always consider mistakes as a factor that helps me bring improvement, build resilience, pushes me out of my comfort zone, and encourages me to think outside the box. Mistakes also help me to foster a growth mindset where I see mistakes as an opportunity to learn.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Believe in yourself, take calculated risks, build a support system and prioritize self-care, stay humble, and celebrate small wins.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I am one of the co-founders at Tarrakki, a fintech startup that is in embedded finance. Tarrakki helps companies to launch investments through its white-label and API solutions. My biggest pride is that I am working on a purpose of bringing prosperity to the lives of all Indians by making investment services accessible to everyone in India.
