“For most of history, Anonymous was a woman.” ~ Virginia Woolf. On this International Women's Day, GlobalSpa recognizes and celebrates the women in the industry as we delve into their success mantra they follow, mistakes that have helped them grow, and of course, their WELLNESS philosophy.
Fueled by curiosity, introspection and a love for holistic wellness, Ritika Jayaswal is the CEO & Founder of Nourish Mantra.
What is your wellness philosophy?
My wellness philosophy is unplugging from time-to-time, this gives you time to reset and get back to your life with fresh energy.
Your success mantra?
My success mantra is always trying to learn more about the things I already know and new things as well. The need for continued awareness is important to me.
A lesson you learned from making a mistake?
One mistake I made was not taking breaks often, so there was a time I pushed myself to the limit and I was off the wagon. I just wasn’t able to give my best, so that’s when I realised that this wasn’t going to work, and I needed to listen to my body and emotions.
Any piece of advice for all the women out there?
A lot of times we look for outside validation, so other people think or justify how successful we are or how good we are, how good of a wife or mother we make etc. All of those feelings should be internal, and we should stop looking for validation outside.
What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?
From a dream to an idea to actually holding a product in my hands, that feeling was surreal, and I realised that it was just the beginning of my long journey. That point was a moment of pride for me.
