What is your wellness philosophy?

Balance and sustainability are the keys to wellness longevity. And when you don’t know which trends or habits to follow, turn to scientific sources and evidence-based practices that don’t result in mental or physical burnout.

Your success mantra?

Maya Angelou’s quote, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel…” really resonates when thinking about how I define success. It shapes not only my personal interactions, but also applies to how I interact with people within my organization as well as clients in equal measure. I know enough to know that both personally and professionally, life can be full of missteps—but this quote guides me to make the best decisions I can.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

In health, accessibility is everything. If it’s not easy for people to reach your service, either virtually or in real life, it doesn’t matter how good it is, you’ll never get it out there.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

No matter how many times you’ve heard it—I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to surround yourself with people who celebrate your accomplishments as if they were their own.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

When people tell me that I’ve brought them something meaningful in the health space that they’ve been missing, I consider it my mission accomplished in spades.
