Amritha Gaddam is the founder of The Tribe Concepts. A thoroughly modern, all-natural range inspired by Ayurveda, curated for Indian Concerns. The Tribe Concepts is a line-up of pure, bespoke & Ayurvedic results-driven skin & hair care formulated by vegan and natural ingredients handpicked from the Indian soil.  

What is your wellness philosophy?

I believe in being happy, positive, eating healthy, practicing yoga, taking care of my skin in the most natural way possible, and most importantly, giving time to myself and my loved ones.

Your success mantra?

I work hard at whatever I do. Most importantly I work towards solving a problem.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Mistakes are the best life experiences and learnings. One thing I learnt is that everyone has their own perspective in life and there is never a right or wrong especially between two people. Realising this made my relations with people better.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

If you really have a dream or a passion, do not wait for any magical moment to begin things, gather all the courage and believe in yourselves to move forward and you definitely will see the universe supporting you in all ways possible.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I take pride in the fact that today The Tribe Concepts as a brand empowers women and 95% of our employees are all women. Giving right support, direction and a livelihood to more than 50 women is something that makes me feel really proud. We are a brand started by women, for women with women and collectively supporting a clean sustainable living.
