AI-powered, dermatologist-approved, and smart skincare— Skin-Pal is giving skincare a serious upgrade (and our beauty shelves a much-needed breather).
If you ask me to describe my best friend, without skipping a beat, I would say – someone who UNDERSTANDS and LISTENS to me. Now imagine your skincare could do that. What if your skincare could actually know your skin before trying to treat it?
Enter Skin-Pal, the future of Indian skincare and an AI-driven skincare-tech platform that’s here to rescue our routines and declutter our counters.
At the launch event held at the InterContinental Eros, New Delhi, the brand unveiled its skin-analysing wizardry and skincare line Pers. Active Lab. The event included live demos and expert panels and guests were invited to try the brand’s signature feature: a high-resolution, selfie-based AI skin analysis that detects everything from acne and pigmentation to fine lines and inflammation—no dermatologist visit required.
“With over 40 years in the tech industry, I’ve seen how the right diagnosis drives real results,” said Grant Kuo, Founder & CEO of Digital Doctor, the company behind Skin-Pal. “Our AI-powered system and ‘Power of Less’ solutions will redefine what effective skincare looks like.”
SKINPAL: Your personal skincare guide
At the core of the Skin-Pal experience is a mobile app that functions like your personal skin guide. Just snap a selfie, and the app delivers a skin diagnosis with dermatologist-level accuracy. Based on this, it recommends products from Pers. Active Lab, the in-house skincare brand designed around a simple but powerful mantra: do more with less.
Each Pers. Active Lab product works triple duty—as toner, serum, and essence—so you get three benefits in one bottle. Everything is vegan, cruelty-free, clean-formulated, and made in Taiwan with clinically backed actives. In other words: fewer steps, less clutter, and more time to actually live your life.
The tech behind the beauty
Skin Beauty Pal hails from Taiwan’s Digital Doctor—a company helmed by Grant Kuo, who previously served as the Managing Director at MediaTek India. The platform has the backing of experts from both L'Oréal and MediaTek. Their goal? To democratise skin health by putting cutting-edge diagnostics in the palm of your hand.
And while the AI is plenty impressive, it’s the brand’s refreshingly uncomplicated approach to beauty that stands out. In a world of 10-step routines and ‘shelfies’ overflowing with half-used serums, Skin-Pal makes a compelling pitch: what if fewer, smarter products could actually get you better skin?
