5 Homemade Face Serums That’ll Nourish Your Skin

A good skincare routine includes a wise choice of products, including a face serum. Choosing the right one can be tricky, so here are some face serums you can easily make at home – all organic and natural!

Face serums are a highly nourishing skincare product that helps in fighting unhealthy dull skin and transform it into one that’s nourished. Loved for its varieties of benefits including ageing, removing pigmented areas or spots, whitening the skin, improving skin texture, protecting the skin, and so on, serums provide a protective layer over the skin – shielding it from the effects of the environment.

Since natural products don’t have any side effects, you can try herbal face serums with natural ingredients to treat scar marks, acne, dullness, and pigmentation. Here are some of the best homemade natural face serums you can unwind with at home:

1. Clear Skin Overnight Face Serum

This face serum includes two basic ingredients, raw milk and honey, and will be beneficial for making skin clear and flawless. Raw milk is high in Vitamin A, and excellent for removing pigmentation, acne, scars and dark spots, whereas tomatoes help in curing large pores, treating acne, sunburn and reviving dull skin.

Take one tablespoon of tomato juice and two tablespoons of raw milk, and mix them well. Apply it on the face and do a light massage. Leave it overnight on your skin or else you can wash it after 15-20 minutes. Use this face serum before going to bed for the best results.

2. Serum For Deep Scars And Dark Spots

This serum includes aloe vera gel, turmeric and lemon oil. Aloe vera is a popular cosmetic and medical plant, helping in boosting collagen (protein) production, and nourishing the skin. While lemon is loaded with vitamin C, which sloughs away dull skin and dead skin cells, brightening the skin; the antibacterial properties of turmeric help in removing dark circles and deep scars.

Combine two tablespoons of aloe vera gel, a pinch of turmeric, and a few drops of lemon oil in a small mixing bowl. To get rid of deep scars and dark circles, apply this serum to your face on a daily basis.

3. Rejuvenation Treatment Face Serum

This homemade face serum is best for rejuvenating the skin, and is a combination of two ingredients – coffee and honey. Coffee acts as an antioxidant that fights premature ageing of the skin due to dust and pollution. On the other hand, honey is a great cleanser and soothes the skin.

In a bowl, mix one teaspoon of coffee and one tablespoon of honey. Apply a small amount of this serum on your face and wash it off after some time. You can make this serum and keep it for a few weeks.

4. Rose Water And Aloe Vera Face Serum:

Aloe vera is rich in skin healing properties and contains many other beneficial nutrients that help in improving the health of the skin, whereas rose water is a natural exfoliator and helps in softening the skin.

Add two tablespoons of rose water to a scoop of aloe vera gel and combine them thoroughly. Apply a few drops of this mixture to your face daily. Keep it refrigerated in an airtight bottle.

5. Cucumber And Aloe Vera Face Serum For Brighter Skin

Cucumber is a nutritious and refreshing vegetable that also helps to tighten the pores. Aloe vera fights wrinkles, deep cleansing the skin; it also reduces acne and lightens blemishes.

Take cucumber and aloe vera, and blend them properly. Apply a few drops of this liquid on your face and leave it overnight.
