The array of products manufactured range from Facial Care, Hair Care, Body Care, Baby Care, and Men Care to Holistic Care. 1. Let’s start from the beginning, how did the idea of Omorfee come about, and when and how was the brand born?

I believe “Small things can make big a difference” Standing by core thought of ‘Healing Through Nature’, I strive my best, with the support of my team to construct the brand. With the sole motive of creating awareness against deleterious chemical based personal care products, I created this line of exclusive exotic personal care products, harvested from the purest organic ingredients, sans any chemicals or synthetics. Secondly, I have always observed that many brands, both Indian and international, have been beguiling the customers just by playing with the names like natural/organic; whereas those brands have a huge chunk of chemicals laden in them. I wanted to proffer honesty and truly pure products to my customers and provide them with the joy of real nature! Omorfee was conceptualized and brought into reality in 2014, under the aegis of Bioruns Private Limited. With the sheer dedication of my team, we have been trying to come really far from where we started. Here, I would also like to mention about my wife, Mrs. Trishita Mishra Adlakha (Microbiologist) our RnD Head and has also been my OMORFEE journey partner all-way long. We together have been working really hard to research and manufacture, stable and one of the best in class Organic Personal Care Products. In 2016 (October), after extensive research, we came up with 5 products (3 Body Butters, 1 Body Scrub and 1 Body Lotion) and launched India’s First Exotic Personal Care Brand. Our Products are free from Parabens, Paraffins, Silicone, PEG, SLS, Alcohol, Synthetic Colors and Fragrances. Natural and Certified Organic Ingredients have been used. Even the preservative used the products is Botanical and offers an amazing shelf life of 2 years.

2. Offering a range of beauty products for both men & women to 100 % organic products, what are the core strengths of the brand that gives the best and quality in check?

Like every other brand, we also planned to start the journey with a private labeller, as it is convenient to just market the products and leave the responsibility of manufacturing to an expert. But we faced a lot of challenges in terms of ingredient quality and product reliability, so Team OMORFEE decided to create its own manufacturing &RnD facility. We are not dependent on anyone for our Research and Manufacturing, which gives us a lot of satisfaction, as the products are the amalgamation of organic ingredients and are precured from, all around the globe. Our Exotic organic ingredients have the most powerful healing properties for the mind, body & soul. Our world-class manufacturing facility has accreditation from ISO 9001:2015 (Intertek), GMP 22716 (Intertek), HALAL, European Union & Health Canada and only Stainless Steel 316 (Pharma Grade) machinery is been used to manufacture the best in class Exotic range of OMORFEE Products. Apart from the marketing, we give a very close look at our manufacturing facility for quality checks and we are also always very kept to launch and upgrade our current product portfolio.  

3. What are your plans for further expansion and for further strengthening of the brand Omorfee?

We aim to place OMORFEE products in more than 5 counties by the end of the year 2019. In this financial year, we are also planning to open 3 more retail outlets for OMORFEE in different cities in India such as Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Delhi. We already have one retail outlet in Bangalore in UB City Store (launched on 20th December 2017). By the end of the financial year 2020 - 2021 (i.e. March 2021), we plan to have more than 15 Stores in India, 5 Stores in International markets and offline presence of OMORFEE Products in more than 15 countries. We believe in providing good quality products to our customers and that gives us immense happiness and strength for our beautiful journey. As the brand grows, we will look for a Strategic Investor in the company, to help us gain new dimensions of success.  

4. What is your idea of beauty & wellness, and how is it translated into your brand Omorfee? 

I firmly believe that beauty and wellness are interconnected. Our outward natural beauty is a manifestation of our inner health and wellness. What we eat reflects on our body and face, and the same is true in terms of what we apply to our skin and hair. No one is oblivious to the fact that a healthy, natural diet is reflected on our skin; so, when our body is healthy, we tend to look and feel our very best. Like food, what we apply to our body, gets absorbed into the skin and effects its appearance and health. The way harmful synthetics have an adverse effect on skin and even our internal body (as the cosmetic ingredients get into the bloodstream, and in most cases deleterious chemicals don’t break down to flush out of our system, they may cause health hazards). So, it’s important to use things that don’t harm your internal health. Because when we respect our health and body, it respects us back in providing a healthy glow to our outward appearance. Omorfee believes in this philosophy, hence, all our ingredients are natural and certified organic. They are completely biodegradable. Once its function on the skin is done, it breaks down and goes out of our system; respecting our health and body!

5. What are the different organic products of Omorfee and how does it stand out from the other competitive brands?

The product portfolio is really extensive! Omorfee provides a total head to toe care. From hair care, facial care, body care to baby care and pure essential oil Aromatherapy range, Omorfee has maximum items for a complete personal care. We have a range of body cremes, lotions, scrub, oils and washes. The facial range is the most expanded one, with masks, scrubs, serums, toners, floral water, and moisturizers to specialized facial products. There are special facial oils and uniquely formulated essential oil blend for facial rejuvenation. Men’s care holds a defined section in our range, which includes beard oils, face washes, and body washes, specially designed for men. Along with baby care products like cremes, oils, and washes; we have a whole line of Aromatherapy blends and pure steam-distilled essential oils, for your holistic well-being. The USP of our range is the usage of certified organic ingredients and the inclusion of very exotic and highly innovative and patented active ingredients in all our products. Apart from serving all your personal care needs, the products are biodegradable, and it brings no harm to your body or the environment. We have followed the same principle even in our packaging, which consists of pure bamboo containers. Furthermore, our products are relatable to people from most regions of the world because of the usage of globally recognized certified organic ingredients.
