This provides plenty of options for every foodie, with 250 types of dishes while also preparing for gifts and giveaways. All the orders delivered to the clients have multiple offers that have built up a loyal customer base.” says Chef Anshu Raj, Founder, Caterspoint.
Here’s GlobalSpa in colloquy with the brains behind Caterspoint:
1.) Starting off, tell us about the concept of Caterspoint. How did it come about?
Chef Anshu observed the market with proper research and development. He then deduced that an ideal company needs a more reliable system to cater to clients and corporate. This is where the concept of Caterspoint struck, which would manage both the principal aspects of B2B and B2C. But this had to be done without disrupting the quality or hygiene of the products.
To fill the gaps between the customer and the company, he decided to lower the packaging costs while maintaining the cost of the consumables. The company was started to provide quality with bulk orders meant for family occasions, birthdays, corporate clients, and more. It turned into a novel concept to transform popular yet familiar dishes into something extraordinary.

Caterspoint has a diversified menu and is apt for all ages. Customers will get a wide range of innovative and guilt-free options to choose from. We have wholesome meals like sandwiches, pastas, salads, and all-day breakfast options that can be consumed at any time of the day. It also consists of nostalgic custards and kheer and delicate and mouth melting yogurts. It is homemade and healthy. It has a set of beverages with a wide variety of options from juices to shakes and innovative thandai.
During special occasions we come up with new seasonal menus for our clients such as Holi menu, Diwali menu, Navratri menu, Mango Carnival and many more.
3.) What do you think is the USP of your brand?
The USP of our brand is the innovation inbuilt in each dish and the improvisation in the old recipes that create a memory among the users. The brand itself is very emotional and sensitive where food and our clients are concerned. We do not compromise with the quality and hygiene of the product at all. This is what creates a USP of Caterspoint.
“As we say ‘Survival of the fittest’ you have to be strong, determined and dedicated to whatever you do.”
4.) Talking about the current pandemic situation, what are you focusing on right now?
At the moment we are focussing on hygiene and quality-assured food is delivered to our clients. We have taken effective measures and our main purpose is to assure our clients that we are serving them the best of what they order. Every process and section of various departments are trained so as to provide safe and healthy services.
Procurement is a very crucial part of our company and we have been facing a lot of challenges in this pandemic crisis. Therefore we are very rigid and careful when handling raw materials when we order from any vendor. We procure material only from the best of the vendors and ensure they follow every safety and hygiene measure religiously.
5.) Personally, why is the message of healthy eating essential to you?
Healthy eating has many other benefits. When we eat well we sleep better, have more energy and better concentration – and this all adds up to healthier, happier lives! Healthy eating should be an enjoyable social experience. When children and young people eat and drink well they get all the essential nutrients they need for proper growth and development, and develop a good relationship with food and other social skills. This is why healthy eating and right eating is essential for me.
6.) Lastly, any advice for today’s young entrepreneurs venturing in the same as you?
The only advice I would like to give the young entrepreneurs looking at the present scenario is to survive till the end. Rather than focusing on the growth of the business one needs to focus on creating innovative ideas to be implemented. As we say ‘Survival of the fittest’ you have to be strong, determined and dedicated to whatever you do.
