A fashion designer and fashion stylist, Seema Kalavadia is the brainchild behind Surat-based Sim’s Designer Studios – a fashion brand showcasing unique luxurious dresses range that guarantees to steal the spotlight at any function.

What is your wellness philosophy?

My wellness philosophy is to envision authenticity, create magic and build collection as per aesthetics in its true sense.

Your success mantra?

Work hard, envision magic and create. Hustle hard till you reach your goal. At the end of the day, soul and creative satisfaction is prior then sales, only then a designer can be a good creator.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Only you’ve got your back! Make mistakes, fall and dust off the ashes. Only you know what you’ve been through and hit harder than the last time. A person who’s faced rejections and failures has the hunger and passion for success and having said that, does not fears failure because they know the potential, they have.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Follow your passion and never give it up for societal norms or pressures, you’re a woman and a woman is a Goddess in all its sense. Multitasking is an in-built talent in all of us, you’re magical! Spread your wings and take over the world.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

My biggest pride after my beautiful kids are my brands, Sims Designer Studio and Sparsh. I am what I am because of these. I worked hard every single day of my life to make it happen. I’m a kind and opinionated woman because I found my self-worth and self -success.
