Risha Shah is the Founder of Instawich, a sandwich delivery kitchen serving delicious sandwich with a desi twist.

What is your wellness philosophy?

To bring awareness into everything I do. Be it, while working or spending time with my loved ones. Life is too short to live in the past or worry about the future. Those who can master living in the present know how to live life to the fullest.

Your success mantra?

Stop being hard on yourself. Remember, you will never have it all figured out. To me success is acknowledging my imperfections and consciously working towards my personal growth. After all, it’s all about relearning our own loveliness.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

I believe that there are no real mistakes and that these learnings (as I like to call them) eventually lead you to your mission in life. What my biggest learning has been is to listen to my instinct – that feeling we get before finding ourselves in a less than ideal situation. I feel it’s important to stay connected to your instinct at all times.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Take a break ladies! I know we are the ultimate multi-taskers but I firmly believe that if you don’t feel good it’s always going to reflect in your personal and work life. No one can go full speed at all times, so hit the pause button even if it’s for 5 minutes and indulge in some me-time daily.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

My biggest pride was to launch Instawich, sandwich delivery kitchens all across Mumbai in the thick of lockdown. It’s been a challenging experience and was only possible to achieve this with the support of my husband Aditya Shah (founder of Juno’s Pizza) and a fabulous team!
