Prableen Kaur Bhomrah is a skin-positive influencer. Unfiltered and she chooses to show her raw side to her followers to encourage them to be confident.

What is your wellness philosophy?

My wellness philosophy centres around the belief that both my mind and body must be in a state of harmony to achieve maximum efficiency and growth in all aspects of life, including personal and career. I recognize that even if my body is functioning optimally, without a calm and centred mind, I cannot perform to my fullest potential. Therefore, I prioritize the well-being of both my mind and body equally, as I believe this is essential for maintaining overall wellness.

Your success mantra?

My success mantra is rooted in authenticity, hard work, and consistency. I believe that staying true to my values and putting in the necessary effort is essential to achieving success. It’s also important to have a unique niche that sets me apart from others and to continuously strive for growth and improvement in that area. Additionally, investing the earnings from my content creation into stocks, properties, and my business is crucial for long-term success. I recognize the importance of investing early and consistently and reinvesting in my business to upgrade my tools and resources. By prioritizing these principles, I have been able to achieve my goals and continue to grow and succeed.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

A valuable lesson I learned 2-3 years ago was that, despite feeling low, I would put in a lot of effort to make others feel better, even when they didn’t reciprocate the same level of care and concern for me. I realized I was investing too much time and energy into people who didn’t appreciate or value me. This realization helped me shift my focus towards recognizing the importance of actions over words and becoming more practical in my approach. By doing so, I have gained a better understanding of my self-worth and value.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

It’s essential to recognize that no one else should dictate how you live your life. It’s okay to make your own decisions, even if you fail and learn from them, as it helps you grow as a person. Society has conditioned us to follow specific norms, such as how to dress, behave, or apply makeup. However, it’s time for us to prioritize our happiness and not let others’ opinions affect us. I started the “No Filter with PKB” campaign after receiving comments about my makeup and appearance, which made me realize how we allow others to criticize us and walk over us. It’s time to take control of our lives, become the storytellers of our lives, and not let anyone else control our narrative.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I take immense pride in seeing women from all over India finding the courage to be their authentic selves on the internet with no apology. Witnessing people use my hashtag #nofilterwithpkb and receiving messages about how their perception of themselves has changed, and how they now feel comfortable and confident in their bodies is truly overwhelming. It’s gratifying to know that I have been able to help people overcome their fears and insecurities and make a positive impact on their lives.
