Dr. Rashmi Shetty, a specialist dermatologist, is an international speaker, teacher and author with over 18 years of experience in aesthetic and clinical dermatology.

What is your wellness philosophy?

My wellness philosophy is an everyday effort towards a very long term or rather lifetime goal of staying fit and energetic till the day there's life in the body.

Your success mantra?

My success mantra is love what you do. There are times when you don't really like it, but continue to make an effort towards loving what you do and relentlessness is the only mantra for success.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

A lesson that I would like to mention is never share your dream with everyone.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

Piece of advice I would like to give all the women out there is, multitasking is overrated, give time for yourself and don't be harsh on yourself.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I could juggle the service part of my industry really well, where the ultimate goal was patience, satisfaction and doing the right thing. While my business side was really tickled and engaged with the product line that we started and me being the lady and the nurturing side turned out to be so successful in bringing up my daughter was the pride of my life today and bringing her up single handedly. So to me while she was growing up, I was thinking if she turns out good or bad It's totally on me because there's no one else who can influence her life. Today, for me to sit and watch back when she's grown up to be an absolutely perfect child. That's my success.
