Angelique Dhama is the Chief Marketing Officer at OBEETEE Private Limited, India’s leading producer and exporter of exquisite carpets with a turnover of over US $ 60 Million. A 20-year veteran of the competitive world of lifestyle and luxury marketing, she is best noted for her expertise in international luxury branding.

What is your wellness philosophy?

A good simple diet, eat a little less than you want to; have good amount of fluids through the day. Exercise (I practice yoga) and most importantly get enough sleep of 8 hours minimum.

Your success mantra?

A straight forward, untangled mind. Keep the noise out. Focus on the present – Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

Be careful of what you say – even the walls have ears. Sometimes it can land you into soup.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

FThere is never going to be the right time to do what you want. Do It NOW. All of what you imagine you want can happen. It has happened to me. Everything I have ever imagined has come true, including having a son in my late 40’s.

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

Success came early to me. I was CEO when I was 27. But I would say the most successful of all is the relationships that I have built through the years, with my colleagues, my associates and most of all with the teams I built.
