Celebrating the Doyenne: Aashna Sangani Parikh

Aashna Sangani Parikh is the co-founder of Tipsyfly, a celebration of style, individuality and femininity with a focus on premiumisation in design & quality and accessibility in price points.

What is your wellness philosophy?

Taking a moment to centre myself in the mornings has been incredibly helpful to ensure I can take on any challenges the day throws at me. Setting aside a little piece of time to exercise has been life changing for my overall wellness and I cannot recommend it enough.

Your success mantra?

As a woman entrepreneur, my success mantra centers on perseverance and a strong sense of purpose. I firmly believe in the importance of having a clear vision for my business and staying focused on that vision, even when faced with obstacles and challenges. I am constantly learning and seeking new opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge!

A lesson you learned from making a mistake?

When we first started Tipsyfly we made a lot of mistakes, but each one taught us something new. We learnt the importance of building not only a customer database but a community! Today we’re so proud of our #TipsyFam and everything we have been able to achieve together.

Any piece of advice for all the women out there?

My advice to other women would be to believe in themselves and their vision. It's important to have confidence in your abilities and to take risks, even if it means stepping outside of your comfort zone!

What has been your biggest pride as a doyenne?

I don’t know if I would consider myself a doyenne yet, but my biggest pride has been the ability to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders. Throughout my career, I have worked hard to break down barriers and shatter glass ceilings, paving the way for other women to achieve success in their own right.
