The Coffee Culture Why Pour Over Coffee Roasters Is Worth the Visit

Good coffee, tasty food, a calm space to sit in, and staff who gets it right, Welcome to Pour Over Coffee.

Pour Over Coffee Roasters in Khan Market is the kind of place you walk into and just want to stay a while.

The inside has a calm, simple feel to it. There is a big window on one side, so you get a nice view of the street. Soft music plays in the background, just enough to add life to the space and keep it pleasant. It is the kind of place that works well if you want to sit with your laptop and get some work done, or just sit and chat with a friend at an easy pace. It even felt like a good spot for a solo date, calm and cosy at the same time.

Coffee is where this place really stands out. Pour Over is known for its pour-over coffee, which is where the name comes from. Their PO Specials are the fun part of the menu, things like the Australian Mocha, the Vanilla Cold Brew and the Pour Over's Bullet, each with its own little twist. If you like to keep it simple, they also have the usual favourites: cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos and mochas. And if you enjoy watching your coffee being made slowly, cup by cup, they do manual brews too.

We tried an iced mocha and Spanish iced latte from the coffee menu, and you can instantly tell how perfectly it is made from the first sip. The coffee order includes a small card detailing the bean's origin, roasting process, and even its acidity level. A nice touch that shows they truly care about their coffee and want you to know the story behind it. We even got our hands to try their matcha, and it was a hit!

For food, the menu has a lot to pick from. The breakfast hours have french toast, pancakes, a granola parfait, croissant sandwiches, shakshouka and keema pao. Later in the day, the menu moves into salads, sourdough toasts, and comfort bowls, along with heartier plates like burgers, sandwiches, tacos, pizzas, pastas and risottos.

From all this, we picked a few things to try. Served on sourdough with a hint of truffle, the Wild Mushrooms and Truffle dish became my favourite due to its rich, earthy, and memorable flavor. The quesadilla was warm, cheesy and perfect for sharing, the kind of dish you keep reaching for without realising how much you have eaten. The garlic butter prawns were juicy and packed with flavour, cooked just right. And the crispy chicken and chips rounded off the meal nicely; crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, comfort food done well.

The Khan Market outlet is open till late night, moving from coffee in the morning to drinks and a bar menu as the day goes on. Which explains why it still felt full and lively later in the day. You could visit at different times and get a completely different feel each time, calm and work-friendly in the morning, more social by the evening.

The service was just as good as the food. The staff were polite and attentive, checking in at the right time and giving us space to enjoy our time at our own pace. It is a small thing, but it makes the whole visit feel warm and relaxed.

What stayed with me the most was just the overall feel of the place. Pour Over keeps things simple with good coffee, honest food, and a relaxed vibe. If you love coffee, or just want a peaceful, easy to reach spot to sit with a good cup in hand, this café in Khan Market is well worth a visit.

Pour Over has outlets across Delhi and beyond, including Khan Market, Santushti Complex in Chanakyapuri, and Noida, along with a McLeodganj outlet up in the hills, so you can find a piece of this experience in more than one corner of the city.
