Nail this Wedding Season 2019-2020

Polish your wedding season with the right tweak of art and color on your manicure, as suggested by Makeup and Nail Artist – Neha Suradkar.

The wedding season is up again. Nails, which were earlier just painted with a nail paint matching the color of outfit, are now “designed” to match the look.  Along with makeup and the outfit, nails play an important role in completing the wedding look. Not only the bride, but the close relatives also get their nails done these days. Each one wants their nails to be unique, so let’s have a look at some of the interesting nail trends that will be popular this wedding season:

NAILS DESIGNED TO MATCH YOUR OUTFITS

Design highlights are picked up from the outfits and recreated on the nails. Chrome powder, stones and glitters would be used for such designs.

NEUTRAL COLOURS WITH GLITTERS AND STONES

These nails go well with any outfit worn during wedding and also do not look bad with the regular outfits, once the wedding is over. You can wear these nails for your honeymoon and post wedding engagements too.

RED NAILS

Red is the colour synonymous with weddings in India. Red nails are classic nails, which go with all outfits and add the to the glam quotient too. One can go with classic plain red nails or can play around with stones and glitters along with red.

DRY FLOWER NAIL ART

Pastel outfits with floral designs being a choice of most brides, dry flower nails add the same look to your nails too making them more elegant and wearable even after the wedding ceremonies

HAND PAINTED NAIL ART

One can get unique designs according to the mood of the wedding with hand painting.

There are a few things to keep in mind when you’re going to get your nails done for your wedding:

  1. Try nail extensions few months before the wedding so that you get used to them and understand your comfort level in terms of length and shape.
  2. Discuss the design with your nail technician beforehand so that all the material and colours can be arranged.
  3. Avoid going for over the top designs, which might hamper your movement or get stuck in your outfit and break.
