Karwa Chauth is a festival celebrated in northern states of Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, U.P, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan. Married woman keeps this fast for the long life and well being of their husband. Falls on 28 October this year. On this special occasion, every woman wants to look perfect for her better half, Komal Agarwal Owner and Founder of Brush n Blusher shares some tips on how to apply right make- up on this KarwaChauth:

Radiant Skin– For better result and in order to keep your skin healthy it’s necessary to drink a lot of water. It will be good to use homemade packs like Multani Mitti with honey. Add fruits and green vegetables in your daily routine diet. Regular intake of water makes your skin more glowing.

Henna -Henna is a sign of love because its colour shows how much the husband love their wife. To make your hands and feet more beautiful go for Waxing, Manicure, Pedicure etc. For nails, go for nail art which is very much in use. This will work as a cherry on ice- cream.

Hairdo– Hair colour is in trend these days. Choose hair colour according to your face shape and face tone. Choose hairstyle according to your dress it can be a bun, a braid, curls etc. By using suitable hair accessories, you can pop up your hairstyle. For simple and elegant look do soft curls or straightening.

Eye Make Up-Use coloured or shimmery wing eyeliner. You can use double eyeliner too. first, apply simple black liner then use colour one on top of that. If you really want to apply eyeshadow, then go for nude colours or smoke it with brown or black. Apply some highlighting shimmery colour in the centre of the eye.

Overlook – You can use any full coverage foundation this will help you to skip concealer and it will prevent to make your look cakey and heavy. Apply some soft blush and highlighter and go for a big bold bindi.

Lips– Lips always plays a very important role in completing your whole look, don’t use maroon and red this time. Go for some bold colours like deep brown, burgundy to look different and attractive.
