Keeping the safety and security of its guests and team members their top priority, Hilton and American Express come together to navigate through COVID-19 together.
Sending one million 'thank-yous' to the frontline medical professionals who are working towards keeping us safe, Hilton and American Express announced that the companies, in partnership with Hilton’s ownership community, will donate up to 1 million hotel room nights across the United States to the healthcare heroes leading the fight against COVID-19.
Hilton and American Express will make rooms available, Starting April 13th, without charge to doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics and another frontline medical staff who need a place to sleep, recharge or isolate from their families through the end of May. The hotel is initially working with 10 associations who collectively represent more than 1 million healthcare workers to provide access to the program, designed to support individuals who would otherwise have to spend their own money on accommodations.

Hotels will be staffed by Team Members who have received additional training on relevant health and safety measures to safeguard their own and their guests’ well-being. Hotel rooms and common areas will continue to be sanitized using industrial grade cleaners and updated cleaning protocols.
Moreover, Hilton Effect Foundation has pledged financial assistance to organizations to help those impacted by COVID-19 and has made it to possible for you to donate Hilton Honors Points to their partner organizations responding to COVID-19. The Hotel is initially working with 10 associations to provide access to our room donation program, which collectively represent more than 1 million healthcare workers and will look forward to adding more in the coming weeks.
