Travel to the Land of Ancient Wonders with Royal Jordanian

Royal Jordanian introduces Indian travellers to Jordan’s rich culture and heritage through non-stop flights from Delhi and Bombay

To visit Jordan in 2025 is to step into a civilisation where hospitality and heritage meet a rainbow culture full of surprises. From its Palaeolithic beginnings to the majesty of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic influence, history stands shoulder-to-shoulder with modernity.

Now, there’s even more reason to add Jordan to your travel bucket list. Royal Jordanian Airlines is launching new non-stop flights from Mumbai and New Delhi to Amman, making it easier than ever for Indian travellers to explore this Middle Eastern marvel. Starting April 17, 2025, four weekly flights will connect Mumbai to Amman, followed by the launch of four weekly flights from New Delhi on September 17, 2025.

A Premier Destination For Indian Travellers

In line with the “Explore Jordan” program, Royal Jordanian Airlines' broader vision is to position Jordan as a premier destination for Indian tourists while enhancing connectivity to over 45 global destinations. The airline is also undergoing a fleet upgrade, introducing 19 state-of-the-art A320neo and Boeing 787 aircraft in 2025–26. These planes promise exceptional comfort, dual-class configurations, advanced in-flight entertainment, and WiFi services, ensuring that your journey to Jordan is as enjoyable as the destination itself.

Step Into History, Step Into Jordan

In just five hours, Indian travellers can explore the iconic wonders of Jordan, including Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the otherworldly Wadi Rum desert; and the restorative waters of the Dead Sea. Additionally, Amman, the hub of Royal Jordanian Airlines, will serve as a gateway for Indian travellers to Europe, North America, and the Middle East, providing seamless connections to a wide range of destinations. If you don’t wish to travel further, Amman itself offers a unique blend of old and new, with bustling souks, contemporary art galleries, and a thriving food scene that caters to every palate.

Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian Airlines said, “Through these routes, we aim to showcase the unique experiences Jordan offers while positioning Royal Jordanian as a boutique airline that promotes Jordan as a boutique destination. The new direct connection between Jordan and India will also increase the bilateral trade and economic link between both countries."

Royal Jordanian’s commitment to exceptional service and boutique travel experiences ensures that every journey is memorable.
