Delhi’s Newest Spanish Themed Resto-Bar ‘Soul’ Had Us at Hola

Treat yourself to a soulful meal at this brand-new spot in South Delhi

From local flavours to global cuisines, Delhi’s culinary landscape has so much to offer. The latest addition to the capital’s ever-growing dining scene is a Spanish-themed restaurant and bar, Soul. Located in Ashok Hotel, Chanakyapuri, the restaurant hosted team GlobalSpa for our 5-year anniversary celebrations last week. Soul transported us to a 90s Spanish seaside bar with its classic, contemporary mixology and serene interiors. Here’s why we think it should be on your radar.

The Menu: Authentic Flavours and Handcrafted Cocktails

Although the restaurant specialises in authentic Spanish dishes and tapas, it has a variety of other cuisines on offer as well. The menu has been curated by experienced chefs in consultation with Chef Anuj Wadhwan in the search of true soulful food. With an exciting mix of classic dishes and fusion innovations, the menu has something for everyone. We were particularly impressed by the lively bar at Soul, which features a plethora of signature cocktails and wines. If you fancy a night of music and entertainment, the resto-bar regularly hosts jazz nights, flamenco acts, and so much more.

The Space: A Spanish Mansion’s Living Room Come to Life

The resto-bar has been visualised by architect and interior designer Tuttu M Tomy. Its earthy tones and tasteful design elements lend the space beautifully for romantic dinners and intimate gatherings. Inspired by a Spanish mansion living room, the interiors feature extravagant handmade woodwork, bespoke tribal wall coverings, and upholstery.

The restaurant is open from 12:30 pm onwards for lunch and dinner, also providing late-night entertainment on weekends.
