While there’s really no end to nourishing your skin with facemasks, you really only need a few top ingredients to give you the best results. Here are some.
1.) WINE AND GRAPES
When it comes to vitamins and minerals, grape outshines its size. It contains manganese, potassium, vitamins B1, B6, C, and E, flavonoids, phytochemicals etc. Interestingly, grapes are finding their foothold in the beauty and skin treatment industry.
The grape wraps and massage therapies are essentially an extension of the luxury and rejuvenation processes of spas. Grape seeds and wine are used as scrub due to their exfoliating nature. So, they form a natural scrub and have fewer chances of skin irritation and reaction. Thus, it is a good alternative for highly sensitive skin. Grape based products have been finding their place in the essential beauty kit of the modern women now.
2.) ALOE VERA
Aloe Vera contains as many as 75 nutrients. The benefits of aloe vera extend even to stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both of which are necessary to prevent aging of the skin. As a moisturizer, aloe vera is very popular as it removes dead cells and also aids in the penetration of healthy substances. It reduces the intensity of pigmentation and lightens dark spots on the face. Both the translucent inner pulp as well as the resinous yellow of the aloe plant is used externally to relieve skin discomforts. It contains almost 20 amino acids, vital minerals like calcium, magnesium, and sodium in sufficient quantities, enzymes, vitamins, polysaccharides, nitrogen and other components, which collectively make it a miracle substance.
Excellent for skin, it prevents wrinkle formation and delays, the ageing process of the skin. Aloe vera is easy to grow in pots or gardens. The pulp can be taken out by making a slit in the leaves carefully. the pulp can be applied directly on the face and washed after 10 minutes. In addition to this, aloe vera pulp can be mixed with different ingredients from your kitchen like lemon, milk or simply rose water to enhance the effect.
3.) STRAWBERRY
When it comes to age management, strawberries are wonder fruits. Rich in vitamin C, strawberry leaves skin fresh and fights the aging signs too. For applying as facial, mash three large strawberries. Apply the pulp as a mask on face and hands. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash it. Pat dry to get glowing skin. Strawberry seeds are great exfoliators and have the capacity to brighten up the face by removing dirt and oil that sticks to the skin pores. Sunburn and excess tan can be removed with the help of strawberries. So, to get flawless, younger-looking skin, you can trust strawberries.
4.) PAPAYA
Very popular in spas and resorts is the papaya facial mask. This tropical fruit contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, plus an enzyme that helps exfoliate and smoothen the complexion. Fresh papayas are available at most grocery stores during the warm months. To use one out of season, let it ripen a few days on the kitchen counter before using in a facial mixture. Peel and remove the seeds from a ripe papaya. Chop it into small pieces and blend in a blender or food processor until a very smooth paste is formed. Apply the facial to cleansed neck and face, but not around the eye area. Wait 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
5.) PAPAYA AND OATMEAL
Take two papayas, 5 tbsp oatmeal, 2 egg whites and juice of one lime. Mash the fruit and add 5 tbsp of oatmeal, 2 egg whites and the juice of 1 lime. Mix well, incorporating all. Apply the mixture onto your clean face and neck, while avoiding the eye area. Wait for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
6.) GREEN TEA
Green tea facial is one of the best anti-oxidants and works its way deep into the skin. It helps in removing all the impurities and dead cells. Being anti-toxic in nature, it removes all the toxins from the skin and gives it a relaxing effect.
