Onion Juice
Onion juice is rich in sulphur that boosts collagen production in the tissues and helps in the regrowth of hair. Applying the onion juice on scalp carefully with cotton, keeping it on for 15 minutes and rinsing it off with a mild shampoo should do the job. It has potent anti-bacterial properties that help fight infections of the scalp. This in turn helps reduce hair fall as scalp infections can cause massive loss of hair. Also, they are naturally strong antioxidants, which is why they help reverse the effects of premature greying. Onion juice is one of the oldest and the most efficient home remedies for hair growth. A healthy shine of hair can become permanent when used regularly.
Castor Oil
This is yet another healthy and nourishing natural oil that is extremely beneficial for promoting fast hair growth. You can massage this oil into your scalp and hair for 10 minutes and then leave it on for 1 hour. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. It is loaded with vitamin E and essential amino acids – specifically omega 9 amino acids that are essential for the health of the scalp and follicles. In pure form, castor oil is quite viscous, and therefore it is advisable to dilute it with some other oil like coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil. This remedy can be repeated 2 to 3 times in a week for best results.
Curry Leaves And Coconut Oil
Curry leaves are one of the most effective herbs for grey hair that also aids in promoting hair growth. As for the coconut oil, the fatty acids in it bind with hair proteins and protect the hair strands from root to tip and prevent breakage. It seals the moisture in hair by penetrating through the hair shaft and provides protection against pollution and heat. Taking half cup of coconut oil (depending on the length of your hair), adding 7 to 8 fresh curry leaves to it and boiling it together is the exact job. Don’t burn the leaves; just bring them to a boil. You will find black residue forming; apply this residue to your hair. Use this twice a week to see the difference.
