Because everything seems right on a good hair day, here are 6 haircare resolutions to groom your mane with even after quarantine.
1.) SELF - SCALP MASSAGE
Take pure jojoba oil and blend it with rosemary essential oil. Every day apply some oil on to scalp and massage using fingertips. This will help to stimulate the scalp and condition.
2.) GO SULPHATE FREE
Always use shampoos free from sulphates. They are harsh and remove essential moisture from the scalp. Shampoo at least twice in week.
3.) CONDITION EVERY TIME YOU SHAMPOO
Shampooing should be always followed with hair conditioner. The conditioner makes our hair more manageable and helps to comb through.
4.) USE WATER THAT IS NOT TOO HOT
Use Lukewarm water as that is best for hair. Rinsing with too hot water leads to moisture loss and hair breakage.
5.) HAIR MASK RITUAL EVERY WEEK
Take two papayas, 5 tbsp oatmeal, 2 egg whites and juice of one lime. Mash the fruit and add 5 tbsp of oatmeal, 2 egg whites and the juice of 1 lime. Mix well, incorporating all. Apply the mixture onto your clean face and neck, while avoiding the eye area. Wait for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Hair Mask help in restoring the health of damaged and brittle hair. Doing a hair conditioning treatment at home once in a week helps to nourish and moisturize hair and scalp.
6.) COLOUR NATURALLY
Try and alternate natural colours with artificial dyes. Colour your hair with henna, indigo, and vegetable dye-based hair colours. These organic substances are natural and condition and non-damaging to the hair.
Along with above remember to exercise, drink lots of water and protect your hair from harmful UV rays. These resolutions will ensure that you have a healthy,shiny and strong hair.
