Look sculpted and snatched this summer by waking up face muscles in an energising, non-invasive session at Fit Face.
If Instagram is a thing in your life, then you’ve been browsing through unending reels on the must-do lymphatic drainage massage and how face muscle training can ease out that puffiness to make way for a cool, chiselled look.

I walked into celeb make-up artist Pooja Lalwani Tamang’s Fit Face, in Bandra, to try out a rev-up session for my summer ravaged skin and facial muscles.
It’s a cool shift, from the busy-ness of a salon and the womb-like cocoons of a spa. The sense of calm centres itself in the expansive space at Fit Face, with folks relaxing in reclining chairs and quiet face-trainers working magic with their fingers and sculpting tools on tired faces to gift them the glow.
A quick face scan reveals the level of moisture, fine lines and collagen density across my skin. Based on this, the therapist recommends the Jaw Drop session for 60 minutes. A dual-sculpt, non-invasive treatment to sculpt, lift and strengthen the 40+ muscles on my face.
My face workout begins with the cleansing of dust and grime, and the application of moisturiser, to prep the skin for better hydration and a medley of brisk facial exercises for achieving a well-toned look.

Begins the energising roll-out of face-balling, knuckling, flicking and high-speed upward strokes by my trainer, with her hands moving deftly across my face. She actively massages my jawlines to work in angular notations for accentuating my profile, and bettering blood circulation.
Facial devices work better than simply fingers and here the different kinds of gua shas and micro-current tools stimulate my muscles to detoxify my puffy cheeks. My trainer sculpts and lifts my eye area, cheekbones and jaw, using gloved fingers to work in brisk strokes along the insides of my cheeks and lips, along the jaws to address the buccal bulk.

The micro-contouring definitely steps up the elasticity of my skin, making my face look refreshed, with every energised pore simply singing in rejuvenation at the end of the session.
With serums and skincare ingredients promising overnight transformations, and falling short, the fervour of this bootcamp for my face brought in a structured, calibrated, expert-driven mix of a warm-up, cardio, sculpting and a small cool-down – complete with ice globes, to make my face look firmer, toned, relaxed.
Move aside scruffy skin. Bye to the buccal with a fortnightly visit to Fit Face. This one’s jaw-dropping.
