This procedure can only be performed by a professional and is extremely time consuming. It works best on smaller areas like face, neck and can be extremely painful depending upon the threshold.
Vaniqa
It is not exactly a hair removal product but is rather used for reducing the growth of hair. A medication in form of a cream, it is used to slow down the growth of unwanted hair on smaller areas like chin, face and neck and shouldn’t be used on rest of the body. It is used twice a day after clearing the hair from the skin.
Threading
It is an extremely popular way of removing excess facial hair and for foe giving a sharp to your eyebrows. In this process a thread is used pull out the unwanted hair. It is gentler than tweezing where you have to pull one hair at a time. It can only be done on small areas as its extremely time taking and can be a little painful.
Epilation
It is done using a device called epilator which is operated by battery and can be done at home. It pulls the hair from root this it’s effect lasts for weeks. It is a pain inducing technique as it pulls out one strand of hair a a time and causes pricking sensation during the process.
Waxing
It is one of the most popular hair removal technique where warm wax is applied on the skin in the direction of the growth of hair and is pulled, along with the hair, using cloth or paper strips. It can be done at home using the packaged wax which is easily available in the market.
Shaving
It is another popular method used by women across the globe where the excess hair is shaved off using a razor. It is very convenient at can be done easily at home. It’s effect result last only for some days and the growth is stubble and coarse.
