Ultherapy-Treatment

Are you looking to lift & tighten skin without surgery? Here’s a safe and non-invasive method, giving options to shift from Botox and Fillers.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy which means Ul means Ultrasound and therapy, this is used in facelift and skin tightening in an un-surgical way. Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to deliver its collagen-boosting treatment. It is an FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage, Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher look from your brow to your chest.

How is it done?

It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial. Ultherapy harnesses the power of ultrasound to transform the brow, chin, neck, and chest which makes the face look smaller and rejuvenated. Also helps in lifting and skin tightening as a whole.

Precaution Before and After the treatment:

Before the treatment one should maintain a proper routine of eating healthy food, drinking sufficient water and exercises. Clean your face and remove makeup before the procedure. One can also take anti-inflammatory medication before the treatments.

The Ultherapy procedure takes at least 90 minutes, in which chest includes 30 minutes and face upto 60-90 minutes. During the process a physician or laser technician, will clean the areas they plan to work on of any oil or residue and apply an ultrasound gel. Then a Ultherapy device is placed against the skin and with the help of the Ultrasound viewer the device is adjusted for your skin type.

Ultrasound energy is then delivered to the targeted areas. You might experience quick, intermittent feelings of heat and tingling during treatment. Pain medication can be administered to address any discomfort. At the end of the procedure, the applicator is removed.

Results of Ultherapy

One can start seeing first result within few days as the body starts producing new collagen and further it goes up to three months. The results of Ultherapy will remain as long as body continues to produce collagen and until the natural aging process takes over again. Based on your skin’s response to Ultherapy, you can decide if additional sessions are necessary.

Side effects of Ultherapy

You might also experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.
