Weirder beauty treatments you’ll hear of today

Weird beauty treatment

Leech treatment, Placenta beauty treatment, all these seem weird to us, but yes, these weird treatments are what you must try

When it comes to beauty, people are willing to try absolutely anything when it comes to ensuring that they look as brilliant as possible. It is the willingness to do anything which has resulted in some pretty unconventional beauty treatments being devised. Here are some of the weirdest.

Vampire Facial

If you follow Kim Kardashian on social media, or you have read any celeb magazine, then you have probably seen this treatment being done. With this treatment, blood is removed from the body. It is then spun about in a machine to remove platelets. Them using hundreds of tiny little needles, the blood is injected back into the skin, which apparently helps to rejuvenate it. Of course, this is going to be quite a painful treatment, but apparently it works.

Snail Treatments

Don’t worry. There is no need for you to have snails crawling over your face when it comes to this weird skin care tip. You can purchase snail gel, which is snail mucus mixed up with a whole lot of other stuff. This is something which has been used for centuries on people, and they seem to love it.

If you have acne flare-ups, then snail mucus may be one of the most beneficial treatments for your skin. There is evidence that it can severely reduce inflammation, which is going to be amazing in your pursuit of looking fabulous.

Bee Venom

This is one of those beauty treatments which a lot of celebrities have been touting as of late, which means that you know it is going to be good.

As you know; bee venom comes from the sting of a bee. However, no bees are injured in the making of bee venom gel. The bee venom can be extracted from the bee stinger without the bee knowing.

This weird beauty treatment works by making your skin think that it has been stung. This causes blood to flow to the area, which helps to improve the vitality of your skin. Of course, this is not a treatment that you will want to use if you are allergic to bees. It could be deadly.

Placenta

facial

Probably that weird skin care tip which is going to make you say ‘ugh’ at the start. Don’t worry, though. You aren’t going to be rubbing placenta all over your skin literally. Instead, you will be using a special cream which has traces of sheep placenta in it.

The placenta is rich in stem cells, and it has been demonstrated to help repair the skin. If you are suffering from severe wrinkles, then you may want to get your hands on some placenta cream, because it is going to eliminate them virtually.

Leech Therapy

Finally; leech therapy. As you may know, a few centuries back, leeches were regarded as the cure for absolutely everything under the sun. Most of the time, they didn’t work. However, nowadays, they are great for beauty treatments. When they suck on the skin, they leave a chemical behind. This helps to keep blood flowing to the area they ‘sucked’ long after the leeches have been removed. This rejuvenates the skin and gives it a more youthful-looking appearance.
