A peep into her nature-based approach and learnings:
How has the perspective on holistic wellness changed in 2026?
The pandemic compelled many to review their perspective towards self-care. Many people ‘found’ me online through scrolling. A lot of people to woke up
to seriously consider taking control of their own health, starting to see that maybe the authorities could not be trusted as much as previously thought, looking at how drugs and medication do not cure people. It might help in a crisis, mask symptoms, but doesn’t cure us.
You’ve had your own fair set of challenges as well.
Yes. I have a social media team to take care of everything as I am not very tech-savvy. Undeniably social media has been an incredible tool to get the message out and to awaken people.
What about the challenges earned, while ruffling feathers in the pharma industry worldwide through your alternative healing methods?
(Smiles) It appears that I have ruffled many feathers. I believe that the body alone has the power to heal. That is what we should be looking at.

Is that what drives you?
What drives me is the turning point that came in decades ago when my first child had an earache. Over six weeks, four courses of antibiotics, I was confronted with the fact that the drugs weren’t healing my daughter. When my next child got an earache, I asked the old lady next door for a solution, She told me to steam up an onion on the stove and apply it on her ear. I did. My child slept for two hours and never had another earache.
We choose what we do and what we do not want to do. That is a very powerful situation to be in.
What does the term healing mean to you intrinsically?
When that word healing comes to me, I immediately think of this incredible body. As soon as an injury happens, whether it’s a knock, bump or cut, the body rises to the task and is faithful in its ability to heal us.
Medicine often uses fear to activate people into consuming it. There has been an entire movement of going back to nature, using nature as a narrative to get your health index back on track.
What does this shift spell?
The shift spells out a spotlight for alternatives, like the water therapy. The pharma companies are unhappy because people are starting to look elsewhere for solutions.
Have you observed any tangible change in perspectives in this respect?
Gen Z is listening to their body. There are simple changes we can make in our routines that the body benefits from, in terms of healing.

What is that piece of advice that you can give to all women that they can possibly implement in their daily lifestyle?
I am a grandmother to 26 grandchildren. I live in a body that works well. My message to the people of the world is to start listening to your body. Make a note of what it likes and dislikes. Drink more water, start going to bed a bit early, begin exercising, start eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, and see the difference. Your body will send you the signals that you are on the right track.
Stay away from chemically treated fabrics, including polyester, nylon, and acrylics, as their impact is poisonous on the millions of little pores on our skin. Start exploring beautiful natural fibres that are long-lasting and clean. Everything that touches our skin, especially in hot weather, we absorb it.
There is a shift towards vegetarianism, globally.
It is a logical re alignment. Our gastrointestinal tract is about 10 metres long. It takes a while to get the food through. The fibre in plant foods makes the transit easier. In the countries with the highest meat eaters, there are greater incidents of colon cancer.
In one of your videos, you spoken about cayenne pepper activating your thyroid gland. Do explain.
Cayenne pepper is a blood stimulant. The life of the flesh is in the blood which is the nutrient and oxygen carrier inside the body. When someone has an underactive thyroid gland, they need more life in that area. And when cayenne pepper compresses are applied to the thyroid gland, it can wake up the gland and rev up the blood supply to it.
What do you love about India?
I came to India last year. I went to New Delhi and Mumbai. This visit to Bangalore has been very rewarding. India has such a rich history of not only natural treatments, but of herbs and water treatments. I love the Indian food, especially dosas. The cultured batter is good for the gut.
A pearl of wisdom.
Avoid refined protein. The vegetarian ecosystem is comprehensive unto itself and brings in that entire balance of nutrients for a sound diet. The key lies in balance. I have met some very sick vegetarians who just seem to be living on breads and sugars. Bring in legumes, nuts, seeds, good fats, olive and coconut oils in your intake.
