The Mumbai edition of the GlobalSpa PICKLEFEST and Christmas carnival unfolded as a 2-day celebration of camaraderie, sports and wellness.
GlobalSpa PICKLEFEST, powered by Courtly, made its much-anticipated Mumbai debut on the 13th & 14th of December, unfolding as a two-day Christmas carnival at the iconic Otters Club, Mumbai. Spanning two days, the event delivered an electrifying mix of competitive sport and community spirit.
The Otters Club transformed into a winter wonderland, with festive Christmas décor, warm winter accents, and carnival spaces. Otters Club members actively participated in matches and festivities, adding to the strong sense of community. The edition also witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of pickleball players, fitness lovers, and influential people, including actress Raveena Tandon, Neelam Kothari and Vineet Jain, MD, Times Group, among others.
The Mumbai edition of GlobalSpa PICKLEFEST was supported by a strong lineup of partners who brought the festival to life. Courtly, the powering partner, ensured a seamless event execution through its integrated technology, while Otters Club served as the venue partner. Madras Marinas PC, the co-powered partner, added a competitive edge by bringing in professional and international players, and PICKLEBALL Now, backed by the Times Group, joined as the media partner.
Infinito joined as the athleisure partner and the wellness experience was elevated by Florian Hurel Hair Couture & Spa as a wellness partner and Sorin Luxe Spa & Salon as a spa partner.
Rush on the Courts: The Pickleball Tournament
The pickleball tournaments formed the heartbeat of the two-day GlobalSpa PICKLEFEST, with a nail-biting championship from morning to sundowners. Over 250 players competing across 10 categories showcased skill, agility, and sportsmanship, drawing enthusiastic crowds.
The tournament concluded, with winners and runners-up being rewarded with a mix of cash prizes and gifts. Sorin Spa awarded vouchers worth ?5,000 to winners and ?2,000 participation vouchers. Florian Hurel Hair & Couture also presented vouchers worth ?5,000 to winners and ?2,000 for participants, and Infinito offered exclusive brand coupons for both winners and participants.
A Christmas-Inspired Carnival of Sports & Wellbeing
From matches framed by golden-hour skies to the energetic Otters DJ night, the grounds brimmed with a curated Christmas carnival featuring a mix of wellness, fitness, lifestyle, and F&B brands that participated across the two days.
The DJ night was an absolute blast as the sun dipped below the horizon; the crowd came alive with energy, dancing and laughing as they surrendered to the lively carnival spirit. The music pulsed through the air, lighting up the night as everyone soaked up the fun.
Food and appetising snacks were served by Zaatar w Zeit and Darry’s House. Champion Charms 360 showcased its innovative sports jewellery, while RiActive and Infinito presented a curated edit of stylish, on-trend athleisure. Nutrition-focused offerings came from The Func. Lab. Enhancing the wellness experience, Sorin Spa offered complimentary foot massages, facials, and beauty treatments on day one, followed by immersive sound healing sessions by Paayal Lal on day two.
As the final rallies were played and the Christmas lights dimmed, the GlobalSpa PICKLEFEST and Christmas carnival reinforced GlobalSpa’s vision of promoting holistic living through engaging, community-driven platforms. With its successful Mumbai debut, PICKLEFEST continues to grow as an intersection of sport, wellness, and lifestyle—setting the stage for even bigger, more immersive editions ahead.
